Personal background
Father of two small girls and married to the love of my life Kim. 37 years old love hitting small white(and sometimes yellow) spheres in a gravity defying manner towards small holes in the ground. Once done I go and take them out and do it all over again, stupid game. Also love to fish for , well fish really.

I think that the SETI@HOME project is inspired in its appeal to the population of this world to seek signs of a population of another . Scientists who can think outside "the box", great idea.

Just remember we could all be being watched so let's be nice to each other and if we can't be friends let's at least not be enemies. Peace love and tolerance man! Fore!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It seems unlikely we are the only life capable of transmitting our presene to the rest of the universe but I do think life is a lot rarer than maybe instinct tells us. We already have been beaming radio out for decades so it's a little late now to think we should have kept quiet.

I run SETI@HOME simply because I feel that it is a remarkable idea and helps everyone feel part of such a huge project by using some of their computer power. It is also closer in use to the original concept of the internet in that many geographically seperated computers are working in an informal "network" to solve a problem.
