Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
I hope that some day I will be able to tell my children: "I had also helped to find Them."

What are your views about the project?
I know that some day we'll find something. Not sure what and when, but we will.

Any suggestions?
Most of my friends and relatives never heard of SETI@home. I guess a good advertising would help (I know, I know, it would cost a lot of money).

I've got 4 laptops that are switched on for most of the day. I knew they would consume more energy, but installed the BOINC manager on all of them. Also 2 (crappy) tablets and 2 Android smartphones have BOINC and are slowly calculating the tasks. I even switched on my unused Raspberry Pi (it's running 24/7) and it's counting tasks for Einstein@home.
Not an impressive setup, but I'm going to let it run for some time :-)

Thanks for looking up my profile :-)
