Hiya! I'm an Iowa native. After graduating Construction Engineering at Iowa State University in 1989 I headed East to the Chicago, IL area. I really enjoy it here! There is always something to do in Chicago/Chicagoland!
Recently I purchased a telescope and joined the Lake County Astronomical Society. I'm starting an enjoyable hobby of astronomy and astrophotography!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think this is a ground breaking software idea! It is wonderful we are able to use our personal computers to crunch this vast amount of data and I'm happy to help! :-)

Galaxies... not stars! GALAXIES! As far as the telescope can see!
My opinion: It would be as foolish to assume we are the only life form in the universe as it was for early astronomers to believe in an earth centric universe.
