Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
- Why do you run SETI@home? I revive old computers that have been thrown out, by that I get free computing power and only has to worry about the power costs. In the future I will run the all these on off-grid solar panels and use the generated heat for heating up my workshop. This will all be done with panels, inverters, batteries that I either get for free or find a scrap prices.
- What are your views about the project? I believe in other intelligent lifeforms in the universe and thus helps to look for it. I first started on SETI@home back in 1997 I think, thereabout
- Any suggestions? Can I make my power bill tax deductible when donating power to science?
