Nearby Habitable Zone Exo-Planet Has A Thick Atmosphere
(Message 1844946)
Posted 28 Jan 2017 by Bernard Post: It seems that there are a lot of planets in our suburb, I mean some light-years away and possibly some with water and life. Cant'we target our telescopes to these regions? What should be the strength of a signal coming from say 10 LY in order for us to catch it? |

(Message 1838484)
Posted 29 Dec 2016 by Bernard Post: Hi everybody and happy new year, I have some questions about SETI project may be there are some links to answer but I did not find them: What kind of radio signal are we processing, and why? From where in the universe are we scanning the signals? Small portion, big portion, specific area? Are we processing only Arecibo recordings or some else? How many contributors so far? If a coherent signal is found on a member computer will that member be notified? |

Posted 4 Dec 2016 by Bernard Post: Hi everybody, Proxima B is not far away some light-years so if there is some possible life there as some people say it's probably no more than crocodiles otherwise we should had received some message. Sending probes there is technically possible to get infos within 2 human generations (laser pulsed small sailing ships) is it worth? |

(Message 1521254)
Posted 26 May 2014 by Bernard Post: Why don't you try to focus on possible UFOs near Earth maybe they could emit something. In France there is a strange report called "Rapport COMETA" about them ordered by the government. Why don't you try to focus on earth-compatible planets that are or will be soon discovered? |
