It's only speculation from my soap box, but I think they might allow the units - providing a grace period per'se, but realistically we'll have to wait and see.

My earliest WU deadline is 3rd Sep, and I've had no work to crunch for some days now, so I'm hoping the SETI@Home gang can bring the ship back online soon.

You'd think that numb-nut who started this thread would have poked his/her head out from their keyboard to see the state of the nation.

Like everyone is rubbing their hands to ready your log file.

Hi all,
Just wondering when the SETI Classic will be pulled from use completely?

Hi all,
Have just recently moved from the SETI@Home 3.0.3 NT client to the BOINC Manager after deciding to check out the Seti@Home website (man things change when you're not looking).

In my stats it shows that I had (as of the 15th March, 2005) completed 3614 of the classic Seti@Home units. Problem is that I'd only just recently stopped using the old client.

So does this mean that all units that I'd completed after 15 March, 2005 are not credited?

BTW - Like the new changes and the BONIC facility, though I'm still only crunching Seti@Home units still.
