I have a couple x10 modules in a box somewhere. I got them years ago to experiment with. I wrote some simple software in Visual Basic to control them. Kinda neat but I never really put it to any practical use.

CPU tasks: 141 (141 VLAR 0 VHAR)
GPU tasks: 253 (0 VLAR 108 VHAR)

That is a lot of vlar's for my computer <cry>

Your posts are colourful.

Why is it every time I look at the 'Server Status' page the 'Results ready to send' alway says As of 9m? It never changes. It's been 9m for years! I've never seen any other number other than 9 there!! Ever!!!

Are you using the rescheduler? If yes, perhaps your BOINC client got confused by that.

Are there any hints (backoffs) in the project properties (Projects tab)?

As you can see in the screen shot I do use Reschedule, but usually just to move VLAR off the GPU and only sometimes to give work to the GPU. For a few days now I have been completely out of GPU work and only had VLAR for the CPU. No backoffs or any other messages.

That reminds me; can someone point me to the instructions for setting the <FLOPS> thing? My "3 day cache" actually means 2 day GPU cache and 4 day CPU!

I've been able to get CPU work, but haven't had any GPU work for days now - it's not just me is it? I don't see mention of this problem anywhere else...

So wierd! I'm finally getting a *few* CPU tasks but why not GPU???

25-Feb-2010 6:01:37 AM SETI@home Message from server: Your app_info.xml file doesn't have a version of Astropulse v505.

And I've never seen this message before. I have never been set up to do astropulse. Wonder why it would show up today.

That one is because you have your venue settings to allow work for other applications, and the scheduler was trying to send you an Astropulse WU (finally!), and you don't have an application to run it.

Hmm, my 'Preferences for this project' were all messed up... Show computers was NO (previously I had it Yes) allow emails was blank (previously set to NO) and both astropulse were checked (previously both unchecked)

Again something new and nobody informed the people about..

Suspend work if CPU usage is above 25 %
0 means no restriction
Enforced by version 6.10.30+

And then they are surprised about hundrets of new posts/threads about: 'BOINC do strange things'.

Can you be more plain for us simple folk?

DNA also wrote about planet where most of the people were unhappy for pretty much of the time.

He wrote that most of the suggested solutions were largely concerned with "the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green bits of paper that were unhappy."

The work isn't moving, but it isn't unhappy about it.

I don't know what you're on but I'll have some too please.

When analyzing a signal there come a time when you just have to say "there is too much noise in this signal" Someone picked 30 as the probably-too-noisy limit and that's that.

Nope, still crashes, or more accurately, cannot find the local host (or says it needs a PASSWORD for the local host!!!) every 1 to 20 hours.

Are you running reschedule 1.9 in automatic mode? I ask because I have seen that symptom caused by reschedule 1.9. I only run it manually now.
