Personally, I very like the way, how our stats was shown, that was a reason for that post. I'm almost make a small donation to this poject, let us support them ! http://statsnstones.tswb.org/NotFound.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/userdetail.aspx I'm apologising, if my posting is something against the forum rules. Posted 26 Jun 2009 by ![]() Post: Thanks for the advice, to keep my small farm happy with work, was temporary switched to MilkyWay. Struggling with IP\s. URL's & "config*" isn't my way, it's too complicated & what is really sad - potentially, loosing all processed MB WU's - they will be oudated, when the SETI@home will be returned back to the normal operation. Happy crunching ! |

AK V8 ported release ap. issues, install, questions etc.
(Message 888718)
Posted 27 Apr 2009 by ![]() Post: Hi, really need your comments or ideas. The question is simple: Few week ago was upgraded my main cruncher machine with new CPU's (new for machine), so trinsition from Intel Xeon E5320 (1,83 Ghz) to E5355 (2,66 Ghz). According to the primitive claculation, was expected the cruncing speed growth at least on +40% ( fsb is faster, core frequency is higher). Expectations was wrong, unfortunately. Old CPU's performance was around 14K seconds per 49 credit points, right now it was changed to 10K seconda for the same 49 credit points. Can't cath the idea, what is wrong ? Systeme info: SuprMicro server, based on Intel 5000v chipset, 4 Gb of RAM, Server 2008 SP2 OS. No any hardware changed, only CPU's. Will appreciate for your help or comments. |
