Posted 5 Dec 2005 by Galen Post: After a long drawn out process of trying to find out my SETI classic password, the hair-pulling expierience of actually getting BOINC to run as a screensaver because apparently the program read the act of running as a screensaver as "User Activity", and now I am not getting any messages in the message tab where before I was getting all of my messages (the ones that let you know just what the program has done), and this has all been in the course of only a week or so, I would have to say, DUMP IT!!!! Give me back my Classic SETI where everything ran perfectly and was so easy to run. (basically it ran itself!!!!!) I have looked all through the BOINC site trying to find a way to contact them. I can't log in as it says my Email address is no good. BOINC keeps crashing my computer and I've had it with them. After all these years with SETI, this is my goodbye message. |
