(Message 443877) Posted 26 Oct 2006 by Hylander_1314 Post: It was once said that man would never fly, and now look at how many people fly every day. Then it was said that there was no way possible to go faster than the speed of sound, and what will the SR-71 do now? Just because we don't possess the technology, or math to work out the possibilities for faster than lightspeed travel, doen't mean it can't be done. I think it quite narrow minded and pompous to say things can't be done when history has proven quite the opposite, over and over again. What we need is for the scientists to get passed their egoes, and quit saying things can't be done, when in reality, it becomes possible in it's own time. When will that time come to be, who knows. But mankind has overcome hurdles, and to say that this one won't or can't be overcome is rubbish.
