发表于:6 May 2006 作者: Zoomer30 Post: For the longest time I was in the upper 60s to upper 70s for ave credit. Over the past 2 weeks it has just dropped and dropped everyday, down to under 60 now? Are they sending "longer" work units? I run Boinc about 15-20 hrs a day steady (when at work and sleeping) I also run Einstein@Home and Rosetta. Einstein is running a steady 65-70 ave cred, Rosetta is in the mid 50s. I run Boinc with the "switch apps every 60 mins" so in a 24hr session each project should get 8hrs. |

发表于:20 Apr 2006 作者: Zoomer30 Post: I dont want to make it where my projects are not getting enough CPU time to get the work done. Right now Seti is at an avg of about 65.86, Einstein is at 78.79 and Popluation grid is at 52.82. What project is there that is pretty quick that would kill my work speed (only have 1 PC, so right now its 33% for each thing, or 8 hrs a day per project per 24 hrs). And how do I make one of those read-outs I see everyone put in their sigs for their posts? |

Can a PC be damaged by running things like Seti?
(消息 285407)
发表于:20 Apr 2006 作者: Zoomer30 Post: I run BOINC probably 14 hrs a day on days I am at work (last night in ran from 12AM till about 5PM). My worry is that doing this may "wear out" my PC. I just got a new PC bascially. Got an AMD 64 3200+, new X1600 vid card, 1 GB of PC3200 RAM. The PC runs at about 45C-51C when it runs BOINC. Dont seem to have any issues with the heat (PC has run WEEKs between re-starts and has never crashed since the upgrade) |

How do I change the way the graphs look in Bionic
(消息 284332)
发表于:18 Apr 2006 作者: Zoomer30 Post: I was looking at the help and the graphs looked cool with grids from the X and Y axis and the color looked nice. Mine is kinda hard to read sometimes. How do I adjust this? |
