SETI@home hibernation
(Message 2038457)
Posted 17 Mar 2020 by ![]() Post: Wow, this really is the end of days... Or at least of an era. I've been with y'all since the early days, crunching all along the way. I'll think of you when I'm looking up at whatever night sky I happen to catch along the way between the light pollution. What we have down here among the lights is also amazing: a home allowing us the comfort and luxury to reach for the stars and think big. I suppose we are now entering a moment to really focus on that home. Maybe Corona will somehow help serve to kickstart the needed Green Revolution. To the SETI team. Thanks for the hopes and dreams and hard work. Don't let us miss your eventual journal article! And yes, thanks for all the fish. -c |
