Sorry Folks for the # of aborted Downloads, Need Help to optimise Enhanced
(Message 303829)
Posted 13 May 2006 by Stargate
Post: Hi Friends, I'm very sorry for the number of aborted downloads, but having no luck finding the correct formula to optimise 5.12 Enhanced, I've gone from 03:45ph a crunch to over 20hrs :-( Is anyone able to see my comp specs, and let me know what the hell I'm doing wrong??? I might add that the show graphics button is greyed out, so part of it is right... PLEASE any Help would be great... I think it's the app_info file, I have tried them all... Thanks in advance Regards Stargate |

Post: Thanks for the Info DarkStar, can you point me in the direction you chose? Thanks a million Bud.... Regards Stargate P.S. I optimised my fast comp using one of these methods and cut my time from 2:40 - 2:50 to roughly 47 on average, I still think 25 mins is not out of the question, mind you I'm running a dual processor... |

Post: I'm quite sure the team at Berkely have lost a lot of sleep over this current situation, and a bloody massive headache aswell, (Give them credit) they are juggling things about trying to get things balanced...Good on ya Berkeley I don't envy your task, and you don't deserve the crap being hurled your way... Having said that I'm out of WU's (So What) they will come again, as mentioned below Berkeley did not order us to join this project, we are in it to donate our time (As We Wanted To) for the fun, interest and science....Is This Right ?? As for the knockers of this project, "BUGGER OFF" LEAVE !!! Simple... Donate your time for free picking up rubbish out of gutters or something.... This is not aimed at everyone, just the few who in the last few days have bugged the Message Board... Everyone else "Happy Crunching" and Merry Xmas Best Regards Stargate |
