Have you tried restarting your machine? your pending ones seems to suggest they are all going to -9 result overflows, whereas your wingman in atleast one of them managed to get a more likely result. A restart might help clear it so they process correctly

according to novatech the size of the mars edition is the same as a standard 295, and as they sell both i would hope they are correct...

Card Dimensions 10.5" (L) x 3.75" (W) x 1.5" (H) listed for both mars edition and standard single pcb asus 295. Could well be wrong though!

indeed... i would always use 3 aswell, but if someone is in the middle of building and has some spare ddr3 lying around in single or dual channel and wants to spread the cost over a little while then they dont need triple channel straight away! :)

If you happen to live near a Micro Center store, they have i7 920 @ $199.99.
As I see it, the only issues with this CPU are:
- upgrades (since use different socket than i7 860)
- system power consumption/mobo heat generation (this has mostly to with the x58 chipset than the CPU)
- you have to use 3 sticks of memory
Advantages:
- triple channel memory
- proven overclock numbers
- multiple 16x PCIe sockets (new P55 goes to 2 x 8 channel when 2 x videocard used (NOTE: this is unimportant for SET use)

Overclocking X58 and P55 motherboards can be pretty expensive.

For high SETI RAC, use multiple nVidia cards - and use a power supply to match!

I might also note that ATI is introducing new videocards that very possibly will result in lower prices for some (all?) of the faster current nVidia based cards. Rumor has it actual ATI availability date = Sept 23.

You dont have to use 3 sticks of ram... you only have to do that if u want to use triple channel... x58 will do single, dual or triple channel. If you go for the 920 try and get the SLBEJ version which is the D0 stepping... Apparently this stepping is more overclockable than the original stepping. An i7 920 with dual/triple channel and multiple (NVIDIA if youre doing this for seti) graphics cards is a good way to get a massive rac on one machine. DDR3 triple channel sets are pretty cheap these days and you can get an x58 motherboard pretty cheap these days

if you get it set to the correct(ish) numbers it reduces the variations you will see in run time compared to estimated time when you run through a lot of cuda or cpu that makes the other app estimates go way off so in theory you should get the correct amount of work you ask for and your times run down pretty much as they should

You can put the flop count into your appinfo to stop that Mark. Cant remember the name of the thread with the details of how to calculate the flop count but you may need to adjust the ones said in it for cuda if you use the 2.3 cuda dlls (had to multiply mine by 2.5) My appinfo is below.

Have you tried getting your box up and running without the card? Then add it after everything is working?

Indeed.... Works fine on Vista 64 with my 8800gtx...

You can pay with any Visa debit or Visa Credit Card whatever currency your account is with. It all gets swapped around at Visa and those you are paying get your money. If its an international transaction you get charged a couple of quid usually. Getting a Bank Draft issued shouldnt cost seti anything as Berkeley would in theory just have to put it through the US clearing system as the draft should be drawn in the US. They probably could (depending on which bank Berkeley bank with... I assume its one of the larger US banks)have any cheque drawn in pretty much any country & currency paid into their account. It would just be converted, but they would most likely get charged a lot for this and probably have to wait a while for their money for the privilege.
