ATLANTA (AP) — Attorney and prominent conservative media figure Jenna Ellis pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a felony charge over efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Georgia, tearfully telling the judge she looks back on that time with “deep remorse.”

When were these risks first identified?

Controllers sent the wrong command to the 46-year-old spacecraft and tilted its antenna away from Earth.
NASA's Deep Space Network sent a new command in hopes of repointing the antenna, using the highest powered transmitter at the huge radio dish antenna in Canberra. Voyager 2's antenna needed to be shifted a mere 2 degrees.

It took more than 18 hours for the command to reach Voyager 2 — more than 19 billion kilometres away — and another 18 hours to hear back.

While i don't know that area, i suspect it will be the same as here when a main route is closed- all the other secondary routes that are normally very busy, will become pretty much permanently clogged up, and the tertiary routes won't be much better as people start going through residential areas trying to avoid the mess on the secondary routes.

The brand new £18m Dargavel Primary should have been able to accommodate 1,100 pupils, but due to an “error” by officials, the new building can only hold 430 kids.

What made this hugely embarrassing for the council, was that parents had been warning for some time that the new building was not going to be big enough, and those concerns were repeatedly rejected.

Renfrewshire council announced in February that now expected 1,500 children to need to use the school by 2033 and that would require a new building with capacity for around 800 pupils.

No. Juice is when you take something and squeeze all the liquid out of it, throwing the remainder away. I don't do that, except for the already-squeezed orange juice, and I buy OJ with lots of pulp. What I do is take whole fruit and put it in the blender, consuming the whole thing. It's similar to swallowing a whole strawberry and letting your body break it down. You still get the "pulp" of the fruit.

Pakistan's Supreme Court has ruled that former prime minister Imran Khan's dramatic arrest on corruption charges this week was illegal.

The court ordered Mr Khan's immediate release. His lawyers had argued that his detention from court premises in Islamabad on Tuesday was unlawful.

(AP) — Atop a 100-foot barge tied up at the Port of Los Angeles, engineers have built a kind of floating laboratory to answer a simple question: Is there a way to cleanse seawater of carbon dioxide and then return it to the ocean so it can suck more of the greenhouse gas out of the atmosphere to slow global warming?
Called the lungs of the planet, the ocean, whose plants and currents take in carbon dioxide, has already helped the Earth tremendously by absorbing 30 percent of carbon dioxide emissions since the Industrial Revolution and capturing 90 percent of the excess heat from those emissions. Acting as a giant carbon sink, it has been a crucial buffer in protecting people from even worse effects of early climate change.
Seawater can store 150 times more carbon dioxide per unit volume than air, roughly. But absorbing the greenhouse gas has come at a cost, causing oceans to become more acidic, destroying coral reefs and harming marine species, including impeding shellfish from building their skeletons.
The technology, dubbed SeaChange, developed by the University of California Los Angeles engineering faculty, is meant to seize on the ocean’s natural abilities, said Gaurav Sant, director of UCLA’s Institute of Carbon Management.

On Wednesday, a panel of the American Arbitration Association ruled in a dispute between Lindell and Robert Zeidman, an expert who took up the challenge.
Based on its analysis, the panel said, “Mr Zeidman performed under the contract … Failure to pay Mr Zeidman the $5m prized was a breach of the contract, entitling him to recover.”

A man has been charged with second-degree murder in the US after he allegedly shot and killed a 20-year-old woman as the car she was in mistakenly drove up the man's driveway.
Kaylin Gillis was with three other people in New York state on Saturday.
They accidentally drove into the driveway of Kevin Monahan in the town of Hebron, police say.
As the driver was leaving, Mr Monahan, 65, allegedly opened fire on the vehicle, hitting Ms Gillis.
