Post: David merged my old account that was lost in cyber space and now I just had a party being a scanner for 7 years!~ It is all meraged and i am a happy scanner. So is my litytle team Nurese and friends! So come join us in you are in the medical field or not! Yes I started this group back with Seti in the 90's when they first started. Then lost everything and started it up again in 2000. I didn't scan for a few months after that. We should have more scanning time. I was by myself for a long time. One person joined and then belled on me. So glad you are here. Yes I talked with David Anderson and he fixed my group so combined we have a hell of a lot of scanning! Still going strong....Hopefully more Nurses will join but all are invited! Later and Happy Scanning David Teer RN |

It seems as though you have an account that you crunched for one year on and one you crunched Classic under choose one and just crunch for that account in the future. You COULD make a Team and put both accounts in it but only have one that is accumulating credits from now on. Thanks Mikey. So I do I crunch? I would like to of course keep my older account. That is what I wanted to do from day one. It seems I was not aware a change was coming but I was lucky that I changed my e-mail address and told Seti about it before the change and it must have got done but didn't work till last night. And please do not take this the wrong way or personal. I worked with the public since 1973. I took college courses in business and one course was on how to deal with people and angry people in customer service. I was a Doctor’s assistance and it was hard. I was his Nurse also in surgical procedures as well as in the office, phone and calling in prescriptions. Some are just rants and raves but some, if you listen. In a case of where they have did everything they were supposed to do and some how got lost through the cracks. It happens and usually you can deal with these people and it will not lead to more rants and raves. I guess I didn't practice what I was taught! Well Mikey I would read them if I were you. It is better to learn to deal with people and understand what is wrong instead of ignoring it. I was very calm the first 10 e-mails. Then I couldn’t e-mail any longer. So it was there it just got lost and someone got it moved over and it was done. I didn’t know that. Every time I tried it said my e-mail couldn’t be found. They kept finding the old e-mail account and my account wasn’t updated. But as you can see we are all happy now! We both got what we wanted! So to sum it up and I am not trying to teach a class here but tell you what my feeling were when I acted that way. And it is true with any one. When one or myself is angry, mad or raving it is usually means that one (me) is scared of something. Fearful of something. When I get mad I have to ask myself what am I afraid of? I guess I was afraid of losing all those years I scanned the units. I have a star chart of the systems I scanned and I felt part of the Seti group and felt like I was really doing something good! I was angry because I did my part and I felt like Seti dropped the ball on this one =after all my years of scanning. So I guess I got scared. That is what causes anger most of the time. Thanks for answering and if you would tell me how to crunch I would appreciate it. I so much want top continue scanning the havens for a signal. So please forgive me for getting angry. I am only human and I suppose to make mistakes. We all do. Ity is hard to deal with the public but I noticed when I took that attitude our office and patients load doubled! Post: Dude I asked and asked them back when I could get in touch with them through e-mail. They updated my new e-mail address. Seti told me I was in, in time and that changes were coming. So I thought I was set until I tried to access my account. I tried to use my new updated address and the old one kept coming up. There was no way to get the info Seti was sending to the old e-mail address. They didn't update my new address like they said they did. Or something else happen. I got where I do not want to do this after losing 5 years of search units and all the hours I have put in. I have put in over 5 years of scanning. They list me as March 2005. I am discouraged. They can have it. They don't seem to want to help or care. So why should I try to help them. My computer runs 24/7 so I will just do something else. Screw them! I have the certificates of my 4.5 years of scanninyears framed and when peoiple ask what happen I will tell them. So if they do not want my volunteer work screw them. Thanks for answering anyway. i think i am out of here. i get the same old answers. Like I said my old e-mail address I cannot respond to. I updated before the cut off time and they dripped the ball on my account but It was running the last time I saw it. There was nothing I could do to get to it though becuae of the e-mail issue. Kinda stupid for a big outfit liuke this. It really pissed me off. i wanted so to do this, but I am discouraged now. Did I mention I was pissed off? |

I am really upset because you did not move my credit over from the old site. I had updated all my info and you lost it or something. I am in Nurses & Friends team. Please e-mail me and let me know what we need top do to get my credits back. It looks funny with all my past certificates with all the hours of searching and you say I only have had an account for not even a year now. This discourages me I will say the Hell with it and not tie up my 4 computers with this searching if I cannot have my last 6 years of searching credits. What Aliens are going to contact a bunch of idiots on this planet anyway. They are doing right by staying away! It would be too dangerous for them to come here. They know that. We would probably kill them! We invite them to come then we blow them away! |

Post: Man, Could you have made it a little more complicated? I am at my wits end. I have about had it. The only way I will do this is you e-mail me. I didn't get a warning or nothing. You haven't updated my e-mail address and I did that last year before the March 2005 deadline. Everything was working fine. I already have a Seti blank screen burn in on my monitor. Not gouging to have one on my new one! My old e-mail address is dteer@cris.com. If you want me to do this then send e-mail to me you should find my new e-mail address under the old one. Hell I do not know what the hell is going on. I thought I did but going back and forth to site one to site two then downloading this and that! Then Einstein...I have had it. After of being a member and leader of a group called Nurses and friends and having a lot of work units I give up. I have 3 computers to scan. You used to beg us to do this. Guess you don't need to beg anymore. Well I have had it. I have tried and tried nothing works. So I have changed my screen saver after 5 years to slideshow of personal pictures. So it will stay like this unless I hear from you by e-mail. If not April 1st it all gets un-installed. So if I do not hear from someone from Seti this will my good bye to you. So just in case good bye. |
