In case of updating: sometimes I was anoyed in always updating the newest BOINC-Version, so I let run the client with the fewest errors.... Sure I should update, but I suspect troubles after then, so I let run a 'running system' (never change a running system..lol) greetz littleBouncer |

Thx for advise, but I have 340 GB left, and the settings are: use max. 10 GB and leave 2 GB untouched. So this isn't the problem. The problem was only on this PC , but also with Seti-Beta-WU's. since I rebooted the box, the applications (5.15 and 5.17) work as it should, only I get by each download those .png-Files which I can't find on my disk (example:'arecibo_181.png' , 'sah_40.png' , 'sah_banner_290.png' , 'sah_ss_290.png'; what are those files for?) see the message: 08.11.2006 11:38:44|SETI@home|Started download of arecibo_181.png 08.11.2006 11:38:44|SETI@home|Started download of sah_40.png 08.11.2006 11:38:44||request_reschedule_cpus: files downloaded 08.11.2006 11:38:44||request_reschedule_cpus: files downloaded 08.11.2006 11:38:45|SETI@home|Finished download of sah_40.png 08.11.2006 11:38:45|SETI@home|Throughput 6011 bytes/sec 08.11.2006 11:38:45|SETI@home|Started download of sah_banner_290.png 08.11.2006 11:38:46|SETI@home|Finished download of arecibo_181.png 08.11.2006 11:38:46|SETI@home|Throughput 37531 bytes/sec 08.11.2006 11:38:46|SETI@home|Started download of sah_ss_290.png 08.11.2006 11:38:47|SETI@home|Finished download of sah_banner_290.png 08.11.2006 11:38:47|SETI@home|Throughput 24715 bytes/sec 08.11.2006 11:38:49|SETI@home|Finished download of sah_ss_290.png 08.11.2006 11:38:49|SETI@home|Throughput 29422 bytes/sec littleBouncer |

(Message 123810)
Posted 15 Jun 2005 by ![]() Post: @ Mr. "constructor of the new client 4.45" John McLeod VII, How can I get new work when I report work? On "multi-projects" the client get only work from the "last done" project. To get work from the other projects, I must "suspend" all other projects. Is that the way to work with this silly client? This client is more to prevent future participants to join the BOINC-projects!!! greetz littleBouncer |
