Well to be quite honest, the title doesn't really say it all....

However, I believe you may be referring to your pending credits which at this moment stand at....328.15


Each workunit on your mac has been sent to one other person who also has to complete it and upload the result. Credit is granted only after at least 2 valid results are received.

This is to ensure validity of the result.

Installed the new V 5.0. AP wu's now crunching with 4.37.

Old MB wu's errored out because I hadn't updated the reference to 6.03. The highest reference was to 5.28.

Need to be careful with that.

Was also getting No New Tasks.

Exited and shut down the BOINC client and restarted. Straightaway got new tasks.

I suspect one of the schedulers is acting up.

Either way it doesn't matter except as a matter of acdemic interest.

Finding a positve signal of extraterrestial origin is not going to happen by looking at the graphics.

It'll take more than just one workunit to confirm.

Optimized installed and running fine.

Althought the first one I've sent in has validated properly, it has underclaimed...

It claimed 753.35 as against 771.52 by the other 2 wingmen.

The stage between you reporting your results and the project not having had enough results in yet to form a quorum of results. During this period, your credits will be listed as pending. When the quorum of results is met and all results are checked by the validtor and deemed OK, your credit will be granted. See Claimed Credit; Granted Credit.

You may also want to take a look at this...

About The SETI@home Screensaver

If you scroll down the page, you can read about triplets.


Not to discourage you, but by itself, finding a triplet doesn't mean anything. If you take a look at the Science Status page, you'll see that in the last 24 hours, about 485,111 have been found along with spikes, gaussians and pulses.
