Posted 11 Dec 2011 by David Stites Post: I started having problems with the monitor locking up and not responding this AM. I stopped the screen saver and it still happened. The Cuda is set to start after 3.5 min of inactivity and that is about how long it took. Having to reboot the machine every time I want to use it is unacceptable. I have set to no GPU and aborted all 6.09 (cuda 23) tasks. BTW, guys, we are here to help them not the other way round. |

Goodbye
(Message 1045336)
Posted 1 Nov 2010 by David Stites Post: It irritates me to no end when people through creative manipulation of program parameters still have 40 days worth of work while others can't get any work, and then brag around with it. That used to happen on LHC all the time. Work was sporadic and people would hog as much as possible whenever it became available. It is very annoying but if you just stay away from the forums it is easier to put up with. I rarely read these boards or any others but my comps keep chomping away. My new one is really going to town. Take care, |

Posted 2 Dec 2007 by David Stites Post: This looks pretty amazing! Just like on Startrek, no more paper books. It is still too costly but that will come down. I wonder if the ARRL library is on Kindle yet? Probably not but by the time I can afford one it will be! Great review! I am doing fine, I don't come here often. Have a nice day. P.S. I fixed the link. |

Good! Then someday they can phase out tobacco altogether. As long as they make money they don't care how they do it. |

(Message 584365)
Posted 9 Jun 2007 by David Stites Post: I can't understand why anyone would ever want a gun unless for hunting, sport or protection. That about covers it all. I have guns for all three although I haven't used them in years, except keeping them around for the last reason. I use a bow for sport and hunting now. |
