Post: Thanks for replying! The message is a Boinc on screen when screen saver comes on. It says that the CPU usage is too high to start scanning on this computer. I never had this happen except when i had a lot of windows open. I closed them and it worked fine over the years. I have no idea. I wanted to ask for suggestions. What I should check. As I have checked all that i know of. Thanks for your help! |

Post: I keep getting the message when screen saver comes on to scan. It says processor too high! I have turned off so many things in background and task manager made more room on hard drive. Got lots of room and memory and still same message, Can someone give suggestions to this problem? Thanks David |

Post: My wish list is short. I just wish for my old account to receive my credits and delete the new account I was pushed into creating. My account is or if it is working? Anytime I try to check on my credits that I have been downloading or uploading for the last 6 or 7 years. I go to my account Nurses & Friends that I have been since I entered Seti many, Many years ago. Can't someone there just transfer my new account to my old one and delete the new account and be done with it? I mean it isn't that hard to do is it? For me to lose 6 to 7 years of credits and have to start all over again I have lost the interest in all of it. I mean my account it sitting there. I have begged and pleaded with some one that monitors the message boards and all I get is Blah, blah, blah. Just transfer it over. I go and try to read where someone posted I want my old account back and I have seen several people just plain pissed. You sure pissed a lot of people off. All the posts were deleted. I supply the account number; it was there the whole time. You said you couldn’t find it but I did everything before during and after. Then it pops up finally. So my wish list is a simple one like I said. Transfer my credits to my original account and delete the newer account. I have to say if it isn't done in the next two weeks. I am stopping all my computer time and quitting and say good luck and good-bye. Too bad you lost a lot of people. I understand some cases you just cannot do things but in my situation the account is there. Just transfer all my newer credits and turn off that account and the old account is already up and running just transfer it all and credits and let it run. It sure would be nice. That is my wish list! Like I said if you cannot do that within two weeks I will say good bye and pull the plug and use that space and computer time for something else. Cause I lost the drive and interest if I have lost my old account that I see up and running and nothing will be done simple as it is. Later |

Post: How did you do it? Well I spent a few hours doing this and doing that and I finally got it. How did I do it? Gosh I would have pages opf thibngs to write. I really wouldn't know where to start. it is kind of like trouble shooting a network problem with several computers connected and only one computer connected to the web. You have a lot that can go wrong between them. So I guess you can say I got lucky. Like anything if you studied it long enough you can learn ways to do things. Thanks |

Post: During the move back a year ago my old account was late getting over to the new site for some reason. I was advised to start a new account. Now my old account is back however not getting any credit. I want to move my latest credits over I have done during the past year to the 7 year old account that I have always had.. Or just delete the newer account and start up the old account again. |

Post: Somehow I fgound it and it was updated. I take back all I said then. Ok the next time it updates it should all be running again. But Now this creates another problem. How do i get the last years scanning over to my old account i have found and revived and how do I delete the MARCH2005 account. I do not understand why it couldn;t be found back in March of 2005 but it is found now. Now if I can move the last years units over to the account I hav alsways has and delete the March 2005 account I will be happy. I usually don;lt do this but will someone e-mail me and tell me how to do this? dteer@dteer.cnc,net Thanks I didn't mean to be an Ass. But gosh that was a lot of work to lose and I did all my part! I really want to do this. I would raise Hell and complain and whine and ask for help if I didn't care and want to do it! Thanks folks...Type A is out David Teer |
