Astropulse FAQ
(Message 806739)
Posted 10 Sep 2008 by Fritriac Post: Can anybody explain what's the thing with the stated deadlines of the AP units? My units deadline was two days ago, my computer finished the WU _today_, two days later. And now all the claimed credit is granted - w00t! On the other side: My computer (@ home, does NOT crunch 24/7) worked about 1 month. I didn't expect to get ANY credit, because the original given deadline was elapsed for 1+ day (and I allowed my computer to crunch 24 hours for some days, normally that's ~6h/d). So I changed my preferences to NO AP units. Why the short given time span? |

SISGL window pops up, Boinc fails ...
(Message 336490)
Posted 14 Jun 2006 by Fritriac Post: I've got this problem three times in the last weeks: My machine was running s@h and suddenly (i think it happened in the moment the screensaver started) a small window titled "SISGL" popped up. After two of the three occasions Boinc stopped its work and yields a "Client error" result. Today it looks like the WU remains to be ok, but the question is in spite of everything: What causes this problem? Thanks for any idea, Fritriac |
