(Message 30823) Posted 28 Sep 2004 by CyberGoyle Post: If I understand your problem correctly, you are saying that although your stats are correct on your website, the amount of credit showing in your BOINC client is not. If so, this was caused by two factors - first, the schedulers have been down since yesterday, meaning your client can't update. Second, in the past 12 hours a CRAPLOAD of credit has poured in (I received over 14000 credit in last 12 hours). My account page is updating, which would mean any website pulling stats info would also update. This would explain the discrepency. Again, assuming I understood your original question. :) <a>

Of my clients that received a 'No scheduler responded' message, all have succeeded on their 2nd or 3rd try. Probably the schedulers are getting a big overloaded and can't respond fast enough. <a>

That said, http://setiathome2.ssl.berkeley.edu/index.html resolves to 128.32.18.186 and according to ARIN, that IP is owned by UCB. So likely it is an editing mistake. Or else Seti received a signal from another world and it was a link to the aliens webpage. Doesn't appear we have a conspiracy today. Oh well..... <a>
