Post: I'd be interested if you find a new version. Or someone else takes up the task. Pretty sure I am getting SETI v8 tasks that are completing and validating. My computers are sitting in a corner headless most of the time and are older. Yeah the linux version is old. Post: CIS runs fine here on several systems with BOINC/SETI. I would not touch PC Matic with a 10 foot poll :-) Do a google search on the problems and complaints. Kaspersky is pretty good. |

Post: Update your windows and video drivers. I assume you do not have another screensaver running. Set the BOINC windows screensaver back to defaults. Do you have any other power saving, sleep mode settings? Anything else that might be conflicting? Close all others programs as a test. You are using the latest BOINC version? So BOINC is still running just no screensaver? |

Post: How is your temperature, fans and ventilation? speedfan will give you info in that area MBM motherboard monitor is another yes you can use batch files to wait until a certain time pause wait so long check for existence of a file reboot etc |
