1) Message boards : SETI Perspectives : Is ET in Our Solar System? (Message 2022847) Posted 12 Dec 2019 by JohnTod Post: I firmly believe that intelligent life on earth is VERY unique. Finding a similar planet is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack as evident by the length of time that SETI has been in operation. There have been a LOT of events that have happened to allow us to become the most intelligent and sentient beings on the planet such as the asteroid that killed off anything weighing more than 50 pounds which included most of the dinosaurs. Some are still with us such as alligators, crocodiles and turtles to name just a few. This event allowed mammalian life forms to survive and thrive some of which became us. There have been many credible reports of UFO's so beings from somewhere are visiting earth. What is their agenda is unknown but I like to think we are being observed. If they wanted to take over our planet they would have done so long ago. Beings from other worlds must have solved the faster than light brick wall that we in the Einstein universe face. It is my belief they are either traveling through time or by warping space and time thus greatly shorting the distance from them to us. Those are my thoughts on the subject anyway.
