Have scheduler reply how many seconds of work being sent
(Message 145295)
Posted 31 Jul 2005 by Gabriel Dario Wrobel Post: I agree with you, eberndl. Furthermore, I would like to know why servers send much less work than requested. In my case, all SETI , LHC and Einstein returns just one or two work units when requested 96 hours (my PC takes about 4 hours to complete one SETI or LHC WU, and about 7 hours for one Einstein WU). Let me explain: since I receive my account mail the project URL has changed once, so I can get my account ID from that mail, but not the present URL. Once I found it, I wrote it to a file, but the first time I connected a new PC to the project (some time after the change) I couldn't find it easily. Thanks everybody. Dario. |

Project URL not easily found
(Message 21119)
Posted 1 Sep 2004 by Gabriel Dario Wrobel Post: I recently added a new computer to the project and couldn't find its URL easily in order to join it . If I remember well, URL is showed after registering, but not being my case (I have already registered some months ago), I had to browse through old news to find the present project URL. I suggest you show it in the page that indicate how to participate. Regards. |
