A friend has an old dell centrino, with an unbootable hd. Not being used to propritory boxes, mine are all home built. So anyway I formatted the hd on my windows unit and did a clean install of windows on it, it boots and runs on my unit, but when reinstalled on the Dell it will not boot and the monitor goes into an auto adjust mode and stays there. any help thoughts?

It looks like there are a few of us.After getting a killawatt I decided to shut down my pent-d, take off the h2o cooling on my quad and run at default.my RAC has dropped from 12000 to just under 3000, of course no APs has added to the drop. i'm running other projects so total rac is ok,also only running about ten hours a day. After about six weeks now it doesn't feel so bad. youv'e got to have a daily driver so keep on crunchen.I got to around 80 in top hosts, and will still hit 3000000, it'll just take a little longer. Best to all. Solar and wind sound good if I could have a 2kw nuke in the basement!!!!!!!!!

how do you get the results for your Startup date?
Where do you input data?
Nearly 10 yrs for me.

go to your boincstats page and see where it says sign up date.

If you have that problem - specifically, if you see one or more CUDA tasks 'waiting to run' - then a simple computer reboot should restore you to full crunching speed.

I have had it a few times.Only noticed when my gpu temp drops way down.Just exiting boinc and restart fixes it.
