I went to it, registered, got the email, activated and posted a test message in the General Chat thread. But it wouldn't even let me view the Team News thread. Got this message: Sorry, but only moderators can read topics in this forum. {end message} Maybe I didn't fill out enough of the profile?

Also, it is stretched pretty far on my 1024x768 notebook. It appears to be the headers. Maybe the text on the far right can be placed under the image?

I am an ever faithful fan of Dr. WHO! It almost killed me that back in 1989 the BBC and JNT - Former Producer, (not the Directors, not the writers, and most certainly NOT Sylvester McCoy), pulled the plug on Dr. WHO!

Dr. WHO IS the longest running Sci-Fi Show in existance! To which I still say "WTF" were JNT and the BBC SMOKING, SNORTING, AND OR INJECTING, to kill of the show. NOT only that; however, here in the U.S. at that time, it was Public Television, (PBS), Stations acting as independants spending their Member Dollars to buy rights to air shows like Dr. WHO. (East Enders, Are You Being Served, Red Dwarf, The Prisoner, et. al.) PBS Stations like KTEH out of San Jose, California, (upon the earliest hintings of the cancellation of Dr. WHO), launched SPECIAL Dedicated Pledge Drives to obtain MORE AND MORE FUNDS to shake at "Lion Heart" and the BBC to continue Dr. WHO. The BBC refused to even listen!

I think that the New Dr. WHO is AWESOME! May it reign as long, (or longer), as the original Dr. WHO series. May the BBC NEVER be that stupid, again! Long live Dr. WHO, long live the TARDIS!

I got a report in my email the other day....someone was irritated that we actually chit chat in this thread.

Go figure...a TEAM thread, and someone reported the fact that TEAM members actually SPEAK to each other in here, as offensive....lmao

I guess they felt that the chit chat shouldn't be on the team recruitment thread.

My question is, how many of you have joined us BECAUSE of the fact that we come in here and chat??? LOL

I will be spawning the thread here shortly. Prolly in the next day or so. We have over a thousand posts, and I don't want to chew up too much bandwidth on the server, so I will spawn the thread and hide the this version of it.

I joined up early in the formation of this Team. This Thread, (at that point), didn't have too many Posts; however, yes, because of the so called "chit chat" that I found friendly, refreshing, and different from any other Team, (including my former Team that NEVER even said "Hello" to me nor anyone else), I switched Teams! This Team Thread is not just necessary for us; but has become an integral part of who and what our Team is and represents.

Further; how many Mods, (Knightmare NOT included), have dropped in here and Posted that they "...like what you're all doing here...."? Also, stating that, "...We like that you actually communicate, plan events, plan Websites, etc. Not the standard 'bump' Posts seen on other Team Threads...." Not just Mods; how about the routine visits of Misfit, Fuzzy, KB7RZF, Hans, and other Team Members whom also like, (and have stated so), what we are doing?

We are unique, and we are getting more positive feedback from those whom truly count around here. WE WILL NOT CHANGE! Nor should we have to, because of one worthless so called 'complaint'.

Due to freedom of choice, if that person truly doesn't like that we talk to each other, make plans for the Team, etc. Then they have the choice NOT to come back, and not to join. To which I say SEE YA! Have fun storming the castle, elsewhere! 8-D

As for spawning. If you truly have to spawn the Thread; I understand... Server Load comes first and foremost. However; in the Creation Post of the spawn, (and future spawns), can we PLEASE maintain Links to this and other future 'to be closed' Threads in order to be able to reference material therin?

I routinely go back and review prior Posts to see if there is something that needs 'refreshing'... Plus, (because of whom we are as a Team), I believe that this incarnation, (and future 'to be closed' Incarnations), should remain available to the Public at Large in order to continue to attract more New Members and New Member Prospects to the Team. What do you think, Chief?
