Posted 29 Oct 2017 by SciManStev ![]() Post: It is extremely fun! Once I get the boating lights on, and it registered, and my boating license, it will be even better. I have a 9,9 hp outboard motor for it with electric start and electric tilt. This is definitely an all season, all weather, all terrain machine. It will go through any amount of mud, water, or snow, and will climb a very steep incline. The canopy will be great, especially after it is fitted with screens to keep bugs from taking me apart piece by piece. Steve |

These are some of the controls. We are upgrading the switch panel with one that has more switches. These are some very aggressive tracks. They did very little damage to the lawn, except for cutting a few worms in half...... This is the hood painting of Juggernaught. I love this. Juggernaught is unstoppable. It is hard to believe this is sitting in the trailer in my back yard. When the canopy is finished, I will be able to ride on rainy days like today. now, i just down have sufficient rain gear. Steve |

Posted 8 Oct 2017 by SciManStev ![]() Post: Very beautiful Bernie! Today, I have one of my own. My new toy arrived yesterday, even though it isn't finished. It will go back to the dealer to be finished in the next few days, but it is here for my sister's visit from Virginia. It is unbelievably capable. We went up and down a heavily rutted steep trail with boulders in the rain with ease. We were spinning donuts in my back yard with no lawn damage. The tires have just 3 psi in them now, and will operate down to 1 psi. Steve |

I will keep feeding into the Spring, as long as the bears don't show up. I don't mind the bears, except that when they show up, not only are the neighborhood pets, children, and gardens at risk, so are the bears. In the meantime, I enjoy feedin any critter that is hungry. Now these are my type of folk! :D Mark, I am pleased that your changing hair color gives you so much pleasure. My beard does that for me. I look in the mirror, and feel very good about what I see. To me, it doesn't matter what others think, I just know I am happy with not only what I see in the mirror, but who I am. In Afghanistan, prior to 911, the men were forced to ware beards. Here, we have the freedom to wear them. Steve |

Posted 17 Aug 2017 by SciManStev ![]() Post: I used to have a Bonneville SSEI. I had to replace the water pump once. It would have been easy, except for one metal tab that was covering one bolt. It was engineered that way on purpose, as the tab served no function except to prevent the easy replacement of the water pump. To remove that tab, required me to remover the alternator, the alternator bracket, and jack the engine up a few inches. It took two of us two full days to change a water pump. I haven't tried to repair a car since then. That was about 15 years ago. Steve |

Posted 11 Aug 2017 by SciManStev ![]() Post: I know the average person in North Korea doesn't have access to real information about the outside world, but Kim and those closest to him surely do. I have trouble understanding the rationale for Kim continuing an isolationist policy for his country when he knows things could be much better for all the citizens(including himself) if he'd open up and play nice with everybody. Because without a constant enemy, they have no reason to exist. As long as we are perceived as a threat, they are happy, and feel justified to continue on. Their people would revolt if there wasn't an enemy that they needed protection from. Iran is the same way, but they are very ambitious, which is far more dangerous than isolated Kim, who is mostly concerned about his own survival. Steve |
