I agree, when I run MB's from these 2016 tapes they run well so it must be AP splitter issues. Sadly they keep loading those tapes and ALL WU's overflow...

Thanks goodness we had a nice run of APs, otherwise it would be looking pretty grim right now ...

it's horror : about 30 of the last AP's in my cache had overflow so now I'm stuck with just a couple of CPU units :(

why not run Seti on the CPU and another project on the GPU ? so you'll still be contributing valuable time to a very worthwhile project...

My recent uploads are anywhere else there have to be,

Not displayed in the stats. Hope they are sometimes back ?

*sweating blood here*

same here, recent uploads appear to be still in progress. No worries, they will eventually show as reported when things smooth out...

damn Windows 10 cumulative updates. it decided to upgrade my NVidia driver overnight from 347.88 to 353.xx something causing all my AP's to error out...

Well that's the end of it : no more updating although I believe the Windows 10 NSA edition can turn updates back on by itself sadly.

Well darn, darn and triple darn!!!

My computer crashed and something got corrupted, all tasks went to error on reboot, couldn't see anything in my client state files relating to SETI files, had to reattach to project.

So BONIC abandoned 95 AP tasks, I see some familiar names who got them ... So you are welcome :D

Does anyone know if BOINC will clean out all the WUs I have in my folder? they are all errors and not trying to run. Maybe I will leave them for a day, then delete them.

Pesky things, took me 2 days to get back to 90 AP GPU wu's.
And still not even 1 for my CPU.

This same thing happened to me the last AP frenzy... After a sudden reboot S@H was gone completly from my Boinc. Pesky buggers that resends are still off.

Now happily crunching away with 200 AP's in my cache :)

didn't read through the whole thread yet but my PC decided to abandon the entire project as a whole after a needed reboot due to the heat ???!!?!

Not a happy camper right now :(((

It's OK. The worst thing that can happen, is that we run out of work. I think I can survive that too :-)

you're still grinding through trees with your teeth for the lack of AP's ;-)

Sometimes the system gets it wrong too : as you can see the _0 was a host with lots of invalids, I processed the _1 and the _2 was a host with invalids too so I got "bumped" while the 2 overflow host with all these invalids got it right according to the Seti system...

18) Message boards : Number crunching : WU In Progress Limit? (Message 1662311)
Posted 7 Apr 2015 by Profile S@NL Etienne Dokkum
Post:
First off : there is no way to overcome this. This limit was set by S@H a long time ago (100 tasks for the CPU and an additional 100 per GPU in your rig)

The theory behind this is the heavy duty crunchers were pounding the servers so hard they would collapse.

So you're not alone in this, everyone faces the same limits. The only workaround there is is to build a virtual machine, but this would only give you 100 more GPU tasks(and 100 more CPU of course, but that won't be a problem for anyone).

I hope I answered your question...

I don't want to accuse anyone but looking at the tasks he's probably using the rescheduler swapping all MB's to the CPU and getting more and more 100 tasks for his GPU or the other way around...

Don't know why because there has hardly been a shortage of MB work.
