A problem with file uploads has existed for the last few days. This problem causes file uploads to fail. We now understand the problem and are working on a fix - it will probably require upgrading your BOINC client. Please stay tuned.

In other words CP's credit scheme was "better thought out"...since at 14407 users SETI was out for at least a week...(these guys at CP are still ticking, or trickling...) :):):)

And yes one can specify on the form where the moneys should go...:)
Well, at least on paper...:)

Now, on the sceptical note, with BOINC 4.09 and SETI 4.05, we are starting to contribute at almost half speed, therefore the servers should only have half the load. (I knew there was a simple fix...)
What's up with that feature? (Perhaps here an "official" answer would be appreciated)
