Another Update (Nov 21, 2014)
(Message 1609301)
Posted 5 Dec 2014 by mab Post: internet connection is not that rare resource anymore. ...says somebody living in a city in a major developed nation. :) Sure, it might not be a rare resource for you - but there are still plenty of people (even in quite civilised nations) that don't have regular access to the internet. |

Captcha broken when updating profile - won't let me save
(Message 815302)
Posted 6 Oct 2008 by mab Post: Hi there, I'm trying to update my profile, but the captcha section appears to have a bug. The bottom part of the edit form does not have an image, instead it has this error message: Submit profile To protect project's webpages from spam, we ask you to type in two words shown in the image: This reCAPTCHA key isn't authorized for the given domain. More info "More info" points to the link below: http://recaptcha.net/apidocs/captcha/#keyscope When I try to submit, the form tells me that the captcha was not filled in correctly and so I cannot submit my edits. Can you help? Thanks, Taryn |

Merging Computers in Two "timezones" = Daylight Savings
(Message 758769)
Posted 26 May 2008 by mab Post: Is it possible that it's getting huing up on some minor difference in kernel version? Eeep - sorry for slow turnaround - I don't visit the forums very often. Yes, they should have the same machine name - just localhost, I think. |

Merging Computers in Two "timezones" = Daylight Savings
(Message 743290)
Posted 23 Apr 2008 by mab Post: Hi, thanks, but I tried that, and it keeps telling me there's no appropriate one to merge with... which is why I'm posting here. Is it possible that it's getting huing up on some minor difference in kernel version? |

Merging Computers in Two "timezones" = Daylight Savings
(Message 739789)
Posted 16 Apr 2008 by mab Post: I have two computers that I use for SETI, but my account shows four because we use daylight savings time. So when the computers deliver the results during the period covering DST they show as belonging to a different timezone, and S@H considers them to be a different computer :( It'd be nice if that didn't happen. Alternatively it'd be nice if I could merge them somehow. Does anyone know of how I could solve this? |
