Post: It's been running on my XP machine for over 24 hours. So far it's behaving but I don't like the way it displays pages compared to the IE6. The lettering isn't as crisp on web pages now. I have multiple browsers (Opera, FF, MS, Netscape) since I do web sites and need to verify they look decent in various browsers. Each browser has things I like and things I don't. Netscape is by far the worst for displaying pages properly in my opinion. Even with the less crisp font display with IE7, it still displays better then NS. |

Post: I won't be having anything tonight besides some ice coffee because I've got a headache after looking all night for a new desk on the internet. Yes, a new desk. Those built in monitor stands as well as keyboard stands they put in those computer desks are never work well. I always end up having to have to remove the monitor stand and usually build up the keyboard portion to I can use the PC comfortably. |

Post: I was thinking from back when it was first announced that they were going to test missles that Kim Jong Il would throw his temper tantrum today and not when initially announced. Why do I call it a temper tantrum? Simply because he isn't the center of attention in the world and wants to get the attention focused on him. How do these nut cases get in a position of power anyway? |

Post: My cat, Oliver (named long before the Disney movie of the same name was put out) has sadly passed on after 21 years of age back in 2000. He was your typical Morris the Cat look alike and won a few Morris look alike awards. He ruled the roost here and was allowed to go where he wanted to as long as it was inside. He didn't handle the great outdoors very well even though he thought he wanted to go outside. He usually hugged the ground as soon as he got out and stayed there until I picked him up and brought him back inside. He answered to the name "Furface" as well as most any word that sounded like Oliver. Of course he answered immediately to the electric can opener. I still miss him a lot. |
