Don't know where it should go? Stick it here! Part VII
(Message 1978090)
Posted 1 Feb 2019 by Gordon Lowe Post: Last evening, I began a 12 week seminar at a place in downtown Louisville called the Neighborhood Institute. https://www.centerforneighborhoods.org/who-we-are It is a community engagement program aimed at helping people like me who love their city. We talk about neighborhood issues and how to resolve problems and make Louisville a better place. Anyway, last night we were asked to introduce ourselves, and as part of that, tell one thing that others should ask you about. I chose SETI, and out of the 30 very intelligent and diverse people in the room, only one had heard of it. Not too surprising really, but made for some interesting conversation. |
