use a dust cloth...that ought to clear everything right up....:-)

For the rest of the crowd. If you have a digital camera, you may want to check that it is set to save the images at the highest quality available. You won't be able to get as many images on your memory stick / flash card / micro drive, but you could always buy an extra one or two. If you happen to capture a interesting 'object', you will see a lot more detail.

Since all this took place in 2005, how come these pics were only now posted?

My sister was coming home from a trip up north queensland on the 12th of August 2005 and was just mucking around and taking photos of the moon with my digital camera.

20 minutes of mucking around with a digital camera to make pictures of the moon at night. What could be different in the picture of the moon 3 minutes after you made the first picture? And thus why not use 20 minutes to muck with a camera to make 7 pictures of the moon and see what you could do with the digital camera to make it "shoot" other things? :-)

2. The different shapes of the moon is caused from either auto focus or manual focus.

Picture 6 is still just the moon, but offset to the right. Easily done by shifting the camera half a degree to the left. Unless all pictures were taken on a static tripod with a static camera position at a static degree.

The objects look like dust particles caught in the flash of a camera..very very common digital artifact...

A Sony 4.1 mega pixle Cyber-shot Digital still camera. It also has MPEGMOVIE VX SMART ZOOM DSC-P43 on the top.
