I watch it every chance I get on the Sci-Fi channel. I agree that we are alway the last to get the episodes of any US show, eg. Cleopatra 2525 aired in 2000 and only went for 28 episodes to 2001 and we are only seeing it now on the Sci-Fi channel 6-7 years later. It will be a sad day for all SG1 fans when the final episode is show in the last country to watch it. Then we will only have reruns. I wonder if they will make any other spin off show from it like they did with Star Trek. We have Stargate Atlantis show now, hopefully they make more shows like it. The show will defiantly be missed, but we will still have the reruns.

I tell everyone that I have SETI@HOME on my computer, and I watch for anything cause if they think we are the only planet in this universe that has life on it like ours, then like Jodie Foster said in the movie 'Contact', "I'll tell you one thing about the universe, though. The universe is a pretty big place. It's bigger than anything anyone has ever dreamed of before. So if it's just us... seems like an awful waste of space. Right?". I think it is true what she said in the movie and I for one realy beleive it, but that's me. I don't care what others think of me and I always say that everyone has their own beliefs.

Anyone who has seen these creatures in their natural habitat will swear they are intelligent. I have caught more than a few while fishing, and I must say they make good eating. However, to leave them to die in the Australian sun is just sick. I just read this and I think if Steve Irwin knew this happened he would be rolling in his grave, very disapointed in whoever did it.

It musta caught him completely unaware as he was usually more cautious with deadly animals then this.... One of the few great ones (up there with Marlin Perkins of Wild Kingdom fame) who will be missed. I read that it was his shadow above the sting ray that that startled it and made it attack him. Probably thought his shadow was of a shark and the ray was just trying to survive.

It's supposed to be the closest ever to earth in 5,000 years on the 27th August about 12.30AM. Mars is supposed to be that close to earth at that time that it will look about the same size as a full moon. Can anyone here confirm this as true or fals please, as I don't want to got out that night to look and find nothing. By the way, if it is going to be that big on that date we should be able to see it now, right?

We don't know how or when God created the Earth, nor do we know much about what took place for 18 or so billion years, nor do we know what else God decided to create out there in the Heavens... Even if ET told me there was no God, I wouldn't just take their word for it either... That would be quite foolish... ;) As I see it, it says in the bible that god created man in HIS image. What's to say he didn't create anything else in other images, and if you believe we are the only planet in the whole universe with ANY life (inteligent or otherwise) those people have a very narrow veiw on the universe. This is my opinion anyway.
