2) Message boards : Number crunching : Latest version of Mac C2D optimization causes Leopard crash (Message 681288)

I have recently facing this problem with my new Mac Mini Core 2 Duo 1.83 running the latest version of SETI and latest version of the optimization software from the App link. My mac will display the "crash" screen almost every day if I left the software run all the time. Does anyone has problem as well?

I will post the error info generated by the Leopard next time when I get the error.

I have not seen any problems with my mac mini that I updated to os 10.5 leopard. every thing has been running fine and I pretty much leave my mini running all the time.

Eric said to "beer me woman", so why not split one beer between the subjects and observe the response? Wonder if the human subject or the critters would scream louder for more?

I would have thought if Eric said "beer me woman" A beer would have been thrown at an unstoppable speed at Eric's Head. Them Raccoons are much smarter in the sense that they won't ever use those terms.

Just let the kitties near the keyboard and let them do all the button mashing. Mine seem to like laying across the keyboard to listen to the beeping from the computer. When my new girlfriend just asked me why I have so many computers, I just responded with the answer OCD. I seem to remember a website called Carolyn's clinic for those of us that just can't get enough SETI@Home. I might need to check myself in for another refresher.

My two fuzzy beings were unphased by the burger video. My younger one was more interested in playing with her own tail. My other one was sleeping on the bed. I don't think my kitties are overclocked. I think they are in powersave mode.

My cats have enough intelligence to stop my replies to the message boards. They take up residence on my keyboard when I do try to respond so I do want to waste time trying to look up a thread in the cafe since I only look at the number crunching boards. Compukatt is correct, those felines do own all the crunching hardware anyway.

Looks like we have to wait to tomorrow. From the Seti@home Main Webpage "All of our servers came up fine after the power outage. However we are currently experiencing a routing problem that we are working with campus on. This problem is preventing the distribution of work. At this point it looks like we will be off the air until tomorrow."
