25) Message boards : Cafe SETI : Switching internet providers today (Message 1635332) Posted 30 Jan 2015 by Jorge Post: My service is through Time Warner Cable, no tv, no contract, just internet at 2Mbit. 4x faster than dialup. It's a shame that ISP's are throtteling internet access, especialy when they have a large area monopolies. Most places have no contract plans but they are usualy much slower than contract plans. Upstream bandwidth is usualy the same accross the board unless you pay for Commercial access. If you feel stuck in a contract you can usualy get out of it easily through commerce and trade laws that void any contract that forces you to pay a higher price that is not an area average. It's a pain to fight if you cant read the contracts fine print which usualy does point directly to the specific laws regarding contract void if...

Most russian citizens, I believe, are subject to scare tactics to show support to the reporters covering politics, but this is far from the truth. Putin is trying to resort to the only thing he was programmed to, the KGB tactics. Thats why I believe the russian citizens are still showing support for him, they fear retaliation. Look what they have done to the band "Pussy Riot" in an effort to scare people and it largly worked. Then look at what the EU and the US do because of cold war era laws, countries like EU, US, others, We discriminate against Russian women by not allowing them into our countries unless they have important assets in Russia. That alone directly prevents families from traveling to our countries to show their support of our views, which are most likely theirs also. They are trapped. We, US, EU, etc.., all need to change equaly in order for Russia to change internaly.

Is there any way for 1 work unit to be worked on by all cores for faster compute times? or Is this more of a feature request? I searched preferances and settings but cant find anything.
