If you set your preferences online via your account, then the preferences aren't adhered to until it contacts the servers again. Uninstalling and reinstalling BOINC will force communications to the project, and so will pressing the Update button on the Projects tab.


I had updated the projects, resync with BAM!, etc any number of times.



I am having the same problem. I have set my online preferences and updated the project but still the same. It suspends when the laptop is on battery but not if it is plugged in and in use.
