That's about as coherent as I can be.

I didn't correlate it to the update to High Sierra but I think you're right. Other projects like Citizen Science Grid, Einstein, Rosetta, and World Community Grid are unaffected.

Not kept count since the original post 12 December but a check of the log today has 5 new:

"Fri Dec 22 10:07:40 2017 | SETI@home | Task postponed: Suspicious pulse results, host needs reboot or maintenance"
Task postponed: CL file build failure
I just started getting this error message consistently after Dec. 1.
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=1155628
MacOS High Sierra
10.13.2 (17C88)
BOINC Manager 7.8.4
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010)
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

I'm not sure what to make of that.

I think your GPU doesn't have enough memory to be used here, or OpenCL 1.1 compliancy is required at minimum.

I was wondering because it seems to have happened to others, and it just started Dec. 1 (ish). Prior to that other workunits completed error free —did something change?

I'm sure your OpenCL is OK. You can look in BOINCmanager->Window-LogViewer at the top for whats currently running;

You can find what is installed by default at apple: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202823

BTW I haven't been getting any CL failure errors for awhile from SETI, not sure why.

Thu Dec 21 22:43:25 2017 | | OpenCL: NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce 320M (driver version 10.4.14 310.90.30.05b27, device version OpenCL 1.0, 256MB, 256MB available, 547 GFLOPS peak)
Thu Dec 21 22:43:25 2017 | | OpenCL CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz (OpenCL driver vendor: Apple, driver version 1.1, device version OpenCL 1.2)

I'm confused by why it worked for months, then stopped, unless something changed.

7) Questions and Answers : Macintosh : "Claimed" credits (Message 130059)

From what I have read the "cpu time" that your computer takes to complete a "work unit" figures in to what your credit turns out to be. But from what some others have posted there seems to be no set rules as to how they arrive at it. Unless someone can tell us more I've been just going with the flow:)

I just don't like the term "claimed." I don't claim anything! I don't even see it working.

Makes me personally look like a slacker. :)

Using BOINC (latest) with Tiger on a G4 iBook: My "claimed" credits are a great deal lower than actual. What does "claimed" mean? Why the disparity? Just curious.
