Thanks for that, but nothing was working at all.
I restarted the computer and the problem fixed itself. :)

This might be helpful:

http://www.worldtimezone.com/datetime.htm

Australian Eastern time is 10 hours ahead of UTC [virtually the same as GMT]
and 11 hours ahead in summer time.

USA Eastern time is 5 hours behind UTC.

I've noticed that one work unit is marked as paused the next as runnng and the others are marked ready to run.

The graphics won't run on any of them although the option does show up for the paused one only.

I don't think any of them are running.

I'm not sure about that Alex.

I think it means "without belief in god" rather than, "without god".

The reason I say that is because "theist" means "One who believes
in the existence of a god or gods"

IMO Understanding each others deffinitions is the main problem in
religious discussions.

I'm sure it will get better, there are good people
putting a lot of work into it.

It's disappointing that we had to take a step backwards first though.

One button,"off and on" just like the old Seti, would have made it a deffinite step foward overall.

[oh and the detailed notched red bar on the graph shouldn't have beed downgraded]

Interestingly, Webster’s dictionary [American] is the first known dictionary to distort the the meaning of atheist. The original author had a Christian bias.

"I am a theist," means, "I know that God exists." "I am an atheist"
means, "I do not know that God exists." Appending the Greek prefix "a"
could in no way be construed as meaning, I know that God does not exist."
[Chester Dolan, "Blind Faith"]

"I am an atheist because there is no evidence for the existence of God.
That should be all that needs to be said about it: no evidence, no belief."
[Dan Barker, "Losing Faith in Faith: From Preacher to Atheist"]

>”Agnostic: A person who believes that the human mind cannot know whether there is a God or an ultimate cause, or anything beyond material phenomena.”

I would see it, that if they can’t define the god they speak of then we can’t begin to discuss it because we don’t know what they are claiming.

A God that made Adam and Eve for example, could be very different to an unknown natural phenomena responsible for all of existence.
Why would we assume that it’s unknowable?

Thankyou Saenger, I've done my best with that.
I don't see anyway to get the red square bar like the old one.
I can't stop the wole thing moving either.
I read the FAQ and it says enter "0" and "0", but I can't find the
appropiate boxes to do that.

I would like the option to use the old seti graphics.

The ability to zoom and add a starfield to it like the new graphics would be good too.

I would like the whole program to turn off and on with one click on the icon just like the old Seti did.
IE. with the graphics window set how you left it and no other windows to worry about.

Is there a way I can use Bionic without all the stuffing around?

I just want Seti like it was, click the icon and the program runs with the graphics. Close the window and it stops.

I turn it off and on regularly, this new one is a pain.
