Hi Mike, I tried your command line, but the one that I had previously was actually working better.. Your cml took 20min compard to 12:53 with this one:
-v 1 -instances_per_device 1 -sbs 2048 -period_iterations_num 1 -tt 600 -spike_fft_thresh 4096 -oclfft_tune_gr 256 -oclfft_tune_lr 16 -oclfft_tune_wg 256 -oclfft_tune_ls 512 -oclfft_tune_bn 64 -oclfft_tune_cw 64 -hp -high_perf -no_defaults_scaling -cpu_lock -nobs -tune 1 64 1 4 -no_use_sleep

Thanks Mike, will give this a try and see how it performs.. on my ATI, I am running a mixed system(Nvidia & ATI), When I was setting up I was having trouble getting SoG to run.. it is running on my Nviodia Cards now, but on my ATI i am running Sah(HD5).. is HD5 better than SoG, and can only one type of card run SoG at a time, because it seamed like whenever I was trying to get my ATI to run SoG, my Nvidia cards would drop out..
anyways, it was a pain getting them running together, multiple driver re-installs.. so little cautious with messing with it, but still wonder if I should be running Sog instead of HD5...
Anywho.. thanks again for the cml, I will plug it in for the day and see how it does to the previous one I had snagged from the forums

Hello RueiKe, I was wondering if you might be able to help my with my command line as well. I am running a R9 380 & I plugged in the cml you provided for the vega.
(-v 1 -instances_per_device 1 -sbs 2048 -period_iterations_num 1 -tt 600 -spike_fft_thresh 4096 -oclfft_tune_gr 256 -oclfft_tune_lr 16 -oclfft_tune_wg 256 -oclfft_tune_ls 512 -oclfft_tune_bn 64 -oclfft_tune_cw 64 -hp -high_perf -no_defaults_scaling -cpu_lock -nobs -tune 1 64 1 4 -no_use_sleep)
I wasn't sure if it is optimal for my ATI GPU..
Any help would be great, thx in advance.

ok, thanks for the help..
I now have it running on HD5_r3557.exe, but looks like only being utilized at 38%, where as my to Nvidia cards are 90% +/-... is there a reason why it's not being used more? I have it set to a dedicated core in my app config..

I have no command line info there though, should I have something similar to what my Nvidia cards have? (<cmdline>-sbs 1024 -period_iterations_num 1 -hp -high_prec_timer -high_perf -tt 1500</cmdline>)

I used the lunatics installer, and select APU for ATI GPU, but boinc keeps loading opencl_ati5_Sah
tried calling for opencl_ati_apu in app_config.xml but event log says it doesn't match app versions

Hello All, I am trying to repurpose my old ATI card into my Seti Rig.. it is working, but is using SSE2_OpencL_ATi_HD5.
My question is: Is SSE3_OpenCL_ATI_APU better?
And if it is, how would I emplement it into my app_config.xml, Another <app_version>??

How do you all get BSRAC in the millions, I'm only at 50k... I see one of you has 1million Seti Bsrac.
There's gotta be something I'm doing wrong here.. or you all running entire server rows?

I just figured with $3,000 in new gpus I'd hit a little higher.

ok, thanks.. i will monitor the 2:1 for today, and if its lower than my prev 3:1 I will revert back to my 3:1 setting.
Also how are credits calculated?.. I am trying to find a way to figure out which is more efficient on my machine astropulse or MB..
I only get a AP once in a while, and I'm looking at 1,8M Gflops in 7mins compared to 17k Gflops on 4min (example).. it appears that AP is much more efficient... so just trying to figure out how the credit calcs are made...
thanks again.

I don't understand where you get Work Units from. as some of the jobs vary in size...??
I have dropped to .5GPU:1CPU, 12 concurrent (12 of 16 threads) 85% CPU load
will monitor over the next coupl days

Also on a side note.. I just loaded an astropulse, but its running cuda 100, is that norm?
My app_config.xml for astropulse_v7 is "opencl_nvidia_100"

Astopulsev7 - 1.8M Gflops - completed in 7:17.
only ran one, and now back to (2) blc26

I would like to fine tune my system as well.. I have lunatics installed, all my gpu jobs for the last few days have been open_cl_SoG.
I am running a 2700x with dual 2080 ti's, I was hoping to hit 100k daily with this machine, but so far it has not.
I am running 1cpu-.33gpu in my config.xml, with 12 concurrent.,

Any help to make this machine more efficient would be great.

Was just wondering how the radeon vii performs. My 2080ti does 183kflop tasks, 3 tasks at 8min20sec. Or roughly 2:45 per 183kflop task. How does the R VII do??
