1) Questions and Answers : Macintosh : boinc_project and boinc_master show on Mac activity monitor (Message 2138136) Posted 9 Jul 2024 by Lord_Uintah Post: Quite some time ago I deleted and stopped using Boinc/SETI. I have now noticed boinc_master and boinc_project activity when running Activity Monitor on my Intel Mac. These appear in the users list of the Activity Monitor app. I have reinstalled Boinc and followed how to delete everything, yet these activities persist. They may somehow be associated with screen savers? Yet I cannot find one file that appears to have anything to do with Boinc or Septic on my system. How might I get rid of these?
