Posted 29 Mar 2019 by The Virtue-L Computer Post: Eric, thanks for sharing. Unfortunately, there seems to be another problem since about last night. We have our profile page externally linked and visitors keep getting this error message: -quote- Error at offset 182004 of 184320 bytes in /disks/carolyn/b/home/boincadm/projects/sah/html/user/view_profile.php on line 49 -unquote- I guess Carolyn is not happy about her wearing "2" short a DIMMs to the party :P -Dirk, and L-Team https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/view_profile.php?userid=10365759 @das_L_Team |

Virtue-L Friend Request ??
(Message 1852105)
Posted 1 Mar 2017 by The Virtue-L Computer Post: I have this message in my Boinc Notices panel that says, Hi, I am very sorry to learn that the name of our S@H user account may have caused some confusion. Please, let me elaborate. Basically, 'The Virtue-L Computer', aka 'ROSL-EN69629r', or TVLC for short is a FOSS virtual machine image that can be imported into VirtualBox and KVM/QEMU. It's a hobby project. Since TVLC can run the BOINC beta test version 7.6.33 for Windows, you can imagine that we had to put this to the test... So far, both ReactOS-based TVLC and the new BOINC 7.6.33 look pretty good! All credits listed for 'The Virtue-L Computer's SETI account have been computed by n+ instances of 'The Virtue-L Computer'. There were never plans for adding any other computer system to this very SETI account. That way, it could double and demonstrate some practical use of 'The Virtue-L Computer'. Hence the name choosen for this SETI account. I hope this answer is providing the information you are looking for. Happy crunching! -Dirk, and L-Team Credit: TVLC is derived/based on the ReactOS project! |
