I'm in the same boat - I spent a LOT of CPU time in the classic days, took a break from S@H for about 10 years, and recently returned. I also switched to a Mac about 8 years ago now, and I remain happy with that decision. Granted, I only have a Mac Mini so I still do much of my crunching on a secondary Win7 machine with a GTX 670 GPU.
