(Message 1781530) Posted 23 Apr 2016 by lord666 Post: we have been overtaken by franchises/chains so most places are about the same. you'll get your starbucks, subway, walgreens, walmart etc everywhere. with that, i think southern california is great for weather, cost of living, and all around convenience. there aren't many places where you can hit the beach and go skiing in the same day.
