Posted 10 Dec 2009 by ![]() Post: To verify the optimized apps are running open task manager & select the processes tab. It should be the 2nd one. Then look for "AK_v8_win_SSE3.exe" (or something like) that instead of "setiathome_6.03_windows_intelx86.exe" running. Hi, Re-read all the posts and tips on the Lunatics install. I did mess it up the first time around. Did a clean uninstall of BOINC including deleting all the registries etc, reinstalled BOINC and it started getting WU again, I was not getting any tasks prior to that. I installed the Lunatic unified installer, with care, and installed the CUDA DLL's as well, which I did not previously. Now everything seems to be running smoothly! Thanks for all the help. 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Starting BOINC client version 6.10.18 for windows_intelx86 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM log flags: file_xfer, sched_ops, task 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Libraries: libcurl/7.19.4 OpenSSL/0.9.8l zlib/1.2.3 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Data directory: C:\ProgramData\BOINC 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Running under account ghar 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Processor: 4 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11] 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Processor: 4.00 MB cache 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Processor features: fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 pni mmx 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM OS: Microsoft Windows Vista: Home Premium x86 Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Memory: 2.00 GB physical, 4.24 GB virtual 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Disk: 280.17 GB total, 206.99 GB free 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM Local time is UTC +8 hours 12/10/2009 11:32:10 AM NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce 8800 GT (driver version 19562, CUDA version 3000, compute capability 1.1, 512MB, 339 GFLOPS peak) 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM SETI@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM Not using a proxy 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM SETI@home URL http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/; Computer ID 5211044; resource share 100 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM Reading preferences override file 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM Preferences limit memory usage when active to 1637.10MB 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM Preferences limit memory usage when idle to 1841.74MB 12/10/2009 11:32:11 AM Preferences limit disk usage to 10.00GB |

Thank you for the tip, just tried looking for the "AK_v8_win_SSE3.exe" process, its not running, Below is a screen grab of the processes running, anything else I should do or am missing for Lunatic to work, I did use CPUZ, and followed the instructions by allowing the maximum instruction levels allowed for the Quad 6600, and tick marked cuda as well as the GPU is cuda capable. ![]() |

Is there any place I can check so the WU's can resume? ======= 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Starting BOINC client version 6.10.18 for windows_intelx86 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM log flags: file_xfer, sched_ops, task 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Libraries: libcurl/7.19.4 OpenSSL/0.9.8l zlib/1.2.3 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Data directory: C:\ProgramData\BOINC 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Running under account ghar 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Processor: 4 GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11] 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Processor: 4.00 MB cache 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Processor features: fpu tsc pae nx sse sse2 pni mmx 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM OS: Microsoft Windows Vista: Home Premium x86 Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Memory: 2.00 GB physical, 4.24 GB virtual 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Disk: 280.17 GB total, 207.54 GB free 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Local time is UTC +8 hours 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce 8800 GT (driver version 19562, CUDA version 3000, compute capability 1.1, 512MB, 339 GFLOPS peak) 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM SETI@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Not using a proxy 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM SETI@home URL http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/; Computer ID 5211044; resource share 100 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Preferences limit memory usage when active to 1023.19MB 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Preferences limit memory usage when idle to 1841.74MB 12/8/2009 9:30:03 PM Preferences limit disk usage to 10.00GB 12/8/2009 9:32:57 PM No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 12/8/2009 9:32:57 PM Reading preferences override file 12/8/2009 9:32:57 PM Preferences limit memory usage when active to 1023.19MB 12/8/2009 9:32:57 PM Preferences limit memory usage when idle to 1841.74MB 12/8/2009 9:32:57 PM Preferences limit disk usage to 10.00GB 12/8/2009 9:36:03 PM SETI@home Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 12/8/2009 9:36:03 PM SETI@home Requesting new tasks for GPU 12/8/2009 9:36:09 PM SETI@home Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 12/8/2009 9:36:09 PM SETI@home Message from server: (Project has no jobs available) 12/8/2009 9:45:59 PM SETI@home work fetch suspended by user 12/8/2009 9:46:02 PM SETI@home work fetch resumed by user 12/8/2009 9:46:12 PM SETI@home Resetting project 12/8/2009 9:46:12 PM SETI@home Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 12/8/2009 9:46:12 PM SETI@home Requesting new tasks for GPU 12/8/2009 9:46:23 PM SETI@home Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 12/8/2009 9:46:23 PM SETI@home Message from server: (Project has no jobs available) 12/8/2009 9:46:25 PM SETI@home Started download of arecibo_181.png 12/8/2009 9:46:25 PM SETI@home Started download of sah_40.png 12/8/2009 9:46:26 PM SETI@home Finished download of sah_40.png 12/8/2009 9:46:26 PM SETI@home Started download of sah_banner_290.png 12/8/2009 9:46:27 PM SETI@home Finished download of arecibo_181.png 12/8/2009 9:46:27 PM SETI@home Finished download of sah_banner_290.png 12/8/2009 9:46:27 PM SETI@home Started download of sah_ss_290.png 12/8/2009 9:46:28 PM SETI@home Finished download of sah_ss_290.png 12/8/2009 9:46:38 PM SETI@home Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. 12/8/2009 9:46:38 PM SETI@home Requesting new tasks for CPU 12/8/2009 9:46:43 PM SETI@home Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 12/8/2009 9:46:43 PM SETI@home Message from server: (Project has no jobs available) |
