I am running s@h and predictor. I haven't received any s@h wu's in over a week. I have prefs set at 900 for s
@h and 100 for predictor. It seems everyone is getting wu's now. Is there anything I should look at as far as the s@h wu problem?

Thanks in advance
George

I'm sure you'll get better advice than mine, but it's possible that your client is just suffering from bad timing. Berkeley has had lots of problems, has been down a lot and when it has been up it has often not had any work units to distribute, so it's quite possible when your client has tried to get Seti WU's the project may have been down or may have not had any WU's to send you.

Take a look at your messages screen on the Boinc client and see if you have been getting any messages along this line.

It's all in the timing. My client hadn't picked up any WU's all day but when I forced it to update it picked up 4 WU's.

I was getting WUs regularly but they seem to have dried up sometime today. So, as Bill said, it's all in the timing. If you get there when there're WUs to be had, you'll get some. If you get there "between shipments," you'll have to try again.

Also, look at your prefs for "Keep enough work on disk to last between...." Many posters have been setting things like 4-5 days, so that you'll try to get enough work for 5 days, and as soon as you get below 4, you'll start looking again.

Yes, I've been able to pick up a few here and there threw out the day, it's usually just a couple at a time at the most, but it keeps my PC's running Seti anyway ... :)

Well, don't crunch it all at once, save some for later.
