Ok Im finally getting WU on the FREEBsd box.. But this is getting erros now.. Ideas ?

I have compiled boinc-3.19 and setiathhome_3.10 on my old PowerComputing PowerBase running Yellowdog linux 3.01. Source files are boinc-cvs-2004-07-11.tar.gz and seti_boinc-client-cvs-2004-07-11.tar.gz.

I am also getting the "Unrecoverable error for result xxx (process exited with code 2 (0x2)".

Did you get any warnings when you ran configure or make on either boinc or seti_boinc?

I got a couple warnings for make boinc about unused and uninitialized variables; make seti_boinc gave two instances of 'indent: unknown option "-c"'. I have no clue yet what that could mean.

I think the key is the execv line in the errors returned. It looks like it is trying to move up two directories then down into the projects directory for the seti-client binary relative to where the boinc_client is started. I get the same sort of message:

execv(../../projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu/setiathome_3.10.powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu) failed: -1

Download the latest boinc_public-cvs NOT boinc-cvs ... I had this problem too, now it's OK
