We got to a muggy 25C today, but now as a lite rain falls it's 17C on the way down to an expected 14C.

Well I got most of a potato stack dismantled except I left the bottom tyre as it didn't have any potatoes in it and the dirt in it is a bit moist, but I did get a 15L bucket of spuds and the leftover soil from 3 tyres went to fill in some hollow spots in the lawn. I'll try my latest guru mix when I start my next stack off to see if I can stop that soggy bottom problem with its added sand component. I also harvested a 9L bucket of carrots from 1/3rd of a huge wicking tub.

Meanwhile in my other huge wicking tub I have another 4 rows of carrots seedlings sprouting very well. I think that I'll have to get another 1000L IBC to cut in half to make another 2 huge wicking tubs. On the other hand I'll have to get my wintertime smaller wicking tubs ready to go as the sun back on them now.

Anyhow I'm just about at the end of my Sunday.

Cheers.

Posting on a Monday morning where it's a damp 16C with 22C expected along with more of that falling wet stuff.

Well I won't be getting anything done outside today so it'll be another day of streaming for me I guess after I do a couple of domestic chores.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee as the sky becomes a little lighter.

Cheers.

As lite drizzle falls it's now down to 16C here after only reaching 20C (felt like 19C) and 13C is expected in the morning with another similar day ahead.

Cheers.

Rain first thing, but now just damp and grey.
Took a chance while it wasn't raining and got a couple of new bits of hedge planted - nice prickly Berberis to deter the local "pet" cats from feasting on the small birds that live in the hedge, then using the lawn as an open latrine.
(Why do so many people have cats as "pets" then let them roam all day and night?)

We got 2.5 inches of snow last night. Heck, it's only March......
I always remark on ground hog day that if he sees his shadow, it''s 6 more weeks of winter.
6 more weeks is easy. It's often over twice that. :)

I think somewhere towards the end of April is a good time not to expect exceptional cold weather. It looks nice now here but I am not going to hold my breath on it staying this way.

Posting on a Hump Day morning where it's 15C (feels like 12C) with a damp 19C being expected.

I think that I'll do a run into town to get a few things while giving me something different to do instead of reading books and streaming during this wet weather which is expected to continue on for days.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee.

Cheers.

Continental air is gone too. The wind turned back to West, that is eastward. The grey Atlantic wetness returned... it is drizzling allday at 7°C, in the afternoon maybe 12°C. Pleasant. Not.

Well I didn't need the wipers going into town this morning, but I needed them on intermittent on the way back and not long after I got home those sprinkles turned into a lite rain that continues on.

While I was in town I picked up a reciprocating saw to join my growing Makita LXT cordless tool collection, which will soon come in handy, and maybe next month it'll be joined by a multi-tool.

We only made it to 17C (felt like 14C) today.

Anyhow I reckon that it's time for dinner and some TV.

Cheers.

It was the first time this year that I had to sleep with the windows open. It hit 80 yesterday and only cooled to 47f (8c) Looks like we are back to a cooling trend. The temps are dropping for the rest of the week. Sunday could bring more snow.

Well we've got off to a soggy 14C (feels like 12C) start after 19hrs of constant lite rain which is set to continue on while 18C is expected.

So that means that I won't be doing too much again today, but damn that yard of mine needs mowing again.

Anyhow I do know that I'll be on a caffeine hit as after 4hrs of being up I'm up to my usual 3 morning coffee already while LLB is still around 4.5hrs away. Oh well I still have a bit of catch up streaming to do while my satellite connection is playing nice.

Cheers.

Another cool morning, 5°C. Drizzling has stopped but now there's a faint fog which covers the landscape in a dull greyness. Feels like late autumn instead of spring.
