I wonder if the delusional wannabe dictator now regrets his overnight posts and his moronic speech. If not then he should, that's if he has any morals at all. |

The worst case: Another (foreign) government jet on the ramp, larger than Donny's. He won't like that. |

Well he had a slight change of tune this morning (my time) didn't he? He also has another problem.I wonder if the delusional wannabe dictator now regrets his overnight posts and his moronic speech.Wiggo, have you ever seen him regretting any of his previous posts or speeches? Not me! Europe holds the trump card as the US faces a mountain of debt. |

Well he had a slight change of tune this morning (my time) didn't he? He also has another problem. He just allayed European fears and assured them not to send the USMC to take hold of Nuuk... A coast guard cutter might suffice, which would be seen as a commitment to non-violence. Regarding debt... if you owe your bank $100K, you're a slave to the bank. But if you owe them $100 billion, you're the untouchable, allmighty and feared King. Somewhere in between is the thin line that separates manageable from unsustainable debt. What if you're already way beyond that point, and the whole world is forced to pretend you aren't? They all made a fatal mistake... already decades ago. Admitting the truth would wipe out any of them... that is, enforcing a new beginning.... a reset. So, the King can brazenly smile and simply design this new world himself. Then drape a cover.... a heavy protective sarkophagus... over the old one. Crypto? Gold? I don't know... But indeed nobody knows more about than Canada's PM Mike Carney. |

Another TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) moment. The threat of selling off, just some of the Treasury Bonds held in the EU and UK, and a ban on exporting medicinal supplies, soon had him backing off. |

Another TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) moment. It doesn't look like that from the other side of the pond. We see irrational politics which nevertheless follows a longtime plan written by those people who back and finance the MAGA movement: America first; Great power politics that disregards... outright bullies all less powerful allies now and only respects foreign countries that represent a strategic challenge, that is: combined military AND economic power and the willingness to use both to further one's interests. We lack the first, Putin the latter. But Xi and Trump possess both. The threat of selling off, just some of the Treasury Bonds held in the EU and UK, and a ban on exporting medicinal supplies, soon had him backing off.Danish pension funds will dump all U.S. bonds now. But as Trump boasted, the tiny Denmark is irrelevant. If now Macron presses to retaliate against Trump's tariffs for opposing his Greenland plans with EU tariffs or activating the prepared anti-coercion instruments, you will witness the German Chancellor stopping him. Our industry is far more dependent on US exports than France is. There's no unity, there can't be... no jointly enforceable strategy... and some lunatic, e.g from Hungary or Slovakia… will jump out and veto any decision, requiring further delaying backroom deals to circumvent the veto. Italy’s Georgia Meloni isn’t willing either. Spain?... Pffft. To this day they couldn't agree to ban remaining oil and gas imports from Russia. We are now seeing, through Trump, the grave problem of a confederation of sovereign states in contrast to a federal state. It worked well in prosperous, good times without strategic foes. When times get tough, the unity resp. the power to implement decisive, joint action is lacking. Rough roads ahead. |

Trump’s Greenland Threat Was a Setup — Here’s What He WantedThey setup the White House tribunal to pressure Zelenzkyj into... into what? Unconditional surrender! He dissented and refrained to surrender. They threatened the Danish Vikings with the conquest of Greenland. As foreseeable, the Danes rejected to negotiate their sovereignty. All this turmoil, the diplomatic damage. What for? The fallout is far beyond what Trump's timy imagination can imagine...I think the fallout caused by this rude 'bullying' strategies will by far outweigh its gains. Doesn't Trump know it's the well known tactics of the Soviets/Russian Tsars (Putin included)? Threats and preposterous demands to force opponents into unequal negotiations; a benevolent 'compromise' suggested as a 'way out' in which the aggressor or bully achieves concessions without conceding anything himself. If we start do adopt this mentality (again)... the peaceful times would be over. “You probe with bayonets: if you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw”---Lenin. Why does Trump still need a Diplomatic Corps then? Hundreds of Ambassadors and Attachés? Wasted money... Has D.O.G.E already assessed this government branch? |

The delusional draft dodger insults those who did serve. UK PM Keir Starmer demands Donald Trump apologise for 'appalling' claim NATO troops swerved frontline. British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer says Donald Trump's suggestion that NATO troops did not fight on the "front lines" in the war in Afghanistan is "insulting and frankly appalling". |

He is trying to dismantle the Department of State, his problem is it is a cabinet level department, so he can't just use his mighty marker pen! (bet the next prez declares all things signed by a marker pen null and void!) |

Well the "Mother of all deals" wasn't done by delusional Donny, but he caused it. What is in the EU-India trade deal and what does it mean for global trade? He's certainly got countries moving away from the U.S. as his administration faces yet another court battle over blatant murders. Trump administration sued by families over deadly Venezuelan boat strike. Meanwhile his SS has been involved in another shooting along with yet another screw up. Shooting involving Border Patrol near US–Mexico border leaves person in critical condition. ICE deported a man charged over the 'largest jewellery heist in US history' before he could face trial. Can he and his cronies survive his term? |

Well delusional Donny only has himself to blame for what's happening. Trump tariffs could 'isolate' the US and create new trading blocs. Trump's threat to impose new tariffs on 10 countries in almost as many days has made America a "completely unreliable trading partner" and is driving the formation of fresh trading blocs.I did predict that this was going to happen. |

For a long time in the 19th century this worked well in the British Empire, enforced by an isolationist minded Parliament.Trump's threat to impose new tariffs on 10 countries in almost as many days has made America a "completely unreliable trading partner" and is driving the formation of fresh trading blocs. Splendid isolation. You just need a large enough economic sphere, that is, enough dependent or dominated colonies, to make this a viable option. Footholds on most continents... Eventually, that's Trump's hidden plan: an American trade empire... Panama, Venezuela... Cuba... Greenland... Canada... Persia... Btw. What is this Witkoff figure doing in Russia, frequently? |
